Fuwashuwa Cow's Milk Bread (made with 100% Awajishima Milk from Minami Awaji)

Awaji Island: Milk Bread on the Hill" was introduced in Asahi Shimbun newspaper!
A store selling "milk bread" with the full flavor of Awaji Island milk has opened at the Uzu no Oka Onaruto Bridge Memorial Museum in Minami-Awaji City. The bread is characterized by its mild sweetness and "fudashuwa" texture. The store is called "Awaji Island Milk Bread on the Hill" and uses 100% milk from Awaji Island Milk (in the same city). The company planned to enliven Awaji Island with a new product using locally produced milk. There are six kinds of bread, including milk bread (550 yen including tax) and milk bread with cream (600 yen including tax). In addition to eating and drinking at the museum, takeout is also available in cute packages shaped like milk cartons. Chika Kuwata, 21, who is in charge of the bread, says, "I would be most happy if people feel happy when they eat it. In the future, I would like to try fruit sandwiches and parfaits made in collaboration with local farmers," she said with a smile.
Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For inquiries, please contact the museum (0799-52-2889). (For inquiries, please contact the museum (0799-52-2889).
