The Uzunooka Onaruto Bridge Memorial Museum in Minami-Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture, now offers visitors a 3D digital art corner where they can experience a walk under the sea on Awaji Island. The corner was opened in March at the "Uzushio Science Museum" located inside the memorial hall. Large screens (about 14 meters long and 2 meters high) installed on both sides of the passageway show images of sea bream, octopus, and sea fireflies that live near Awaji Island, as well as the Naruto whirlpools, giving visitors the feeling of walking under the sea. Masakazu Tanima, 52, manager of the museum, says, "We hope visitors will experience the richness of the Awaji Island sea through the images.
