The Naruto Straits Whirlpools, which are currently on the World Heritage List, are the theme of the exhibition at the Onaruto Bridge Memorial Hall, where photos of the spectacular whirlpools and the Onaruto Bridge in the background are on display.
Photographer.Hisanobu SatoguchiHe has continued to photograph the ever-changing landscape of Awaji Island, and his work has been featured in solo exhibitions, in photo collections and columns, in newspapers, and on a commemorative postage stamp commemorating the "Naruto Whirlpools," which are on the World Heritage List.
This year's exhibition, coinciding with the autumn high tide, will feature about 15 to 20 photographs of the "Uzushio" (whirlpools) and Naruto Straits scenery taken over the past 30 years under the theme of "Uzushio," which rolls in and out in an instant, and rarely seen moments!
