Exquisite Awaji Island Gourmet that never ceases to impress!
Onaruto Bridge and Tokushima Prefecture below
Immerse yourself in an unprecedented palate at a restaurant with a spectacular view.

The Uzunooka Onaruto Bridge Memorial Museum in Minami-Awaji City stands on a hill with a spectacular view overlooking the Naruto Strait, which connects Awaji Island and Shikoku Island. In addition to stores, restaurants, and the Uzushio Science Museum, the facility is full of fun and games, including an "onion catcher" and a unique objet d'art called an "oo onion.
Awajishima Burger Awajishima Onion Kitchen Uzu no Oka" is also located on the first floor, where visitors can taste the burgers that won first and second place in the National Local Burger Grand Prix.
The "Uzunooka Kaisen Uni Shabu" at "Uzunooka Restaurant Uzunooka" on the second floor is a luxurious specialty in which raw sea urchin and seasonal fish are dipped into a soup in which the sea urchin is dissolved.
Awaji Island is known for the high quality of its raw sea urchins caught by open water fishing, and the "upside-down sea urchin" unique to this region, where the belly side of the sea urchin is laid out on a board, is said to be a sign of freshness. The rich sweetness and flavor of the sea urchin swirls around each bite like the whirlpools of Naruto, and the zosui (rice porridge) dish at the end of the meal is a real treat. No wonder most of the customers order it.
The restaurant also boasts fresh Spanish mackerel, which is so sweet and fatty that locals say, "You can lick the raw Spanish mackerel right off the plate.
Awaji Island is truly delicious.
