The Uzushio Science Museum Museum Shop has started selling needle box cases and hitohiras!
Hitohira" is a needle case made by Tsuna Shiki Kogyo, a needle case manufacturer in Awaji City for three generations. Hitohira" was born out of the desire to "make needle boxes known to as many people as possible! At the Uzushio Science Museum Museum Shop, you can choose from two types: a card case and a business card case.
*A limited number of gift boxes are also available free of charge.
The "Hitohira" is made of colorful papers from all over the world by needle box craftsmen using a special manufacturing process. No two pieces of paper are alike in terms of pattern arrangement. Just like people, each sheet of paper is unique. Please take this opportunity to find your one and only needle case "Hitohira".
