The museum is now closed! One month has passed since the renovation of the "Uzushio Science Museum"!
We are pleased to inform you of the anxious construction status (^O^)
The shape of the large hydraulic model reproducing the tidal currents of the Naruto Straits is almost complete. We look forward to seeing what kind of straits we can expect to see ...
Waterproofing was completed yesterday, and water will be poured next week♪♪♪♪ When the water is poured, it will look like "Naruto Straits"!
Above it, a giant sphere of about 3 meters in diameter will be suspended from the ceiling. We will introduce the sphere in the next issue. I am looking forward to it.
Upward is the deepest part of the Seto Inland Sea side of the strait. Below is the deepest point on the Pacific Ocean side of the strait.
Ready-mixed concrete has been poured. Do you want to wait until it dries?
A large hydraulic model reproducing the tidal currents of the Naruto Straits will be installed here. This means that you can understand why the "Naruto Straits whirlpools" are created.
I'm not going to be able to do that!
Now that you put it that way, it kind of looks like the original...
The Uzushio Science Museum is closed for construction, but is otherwise open as usual.
Awaji Island Trick Art Exhibition 2016" is only a week away from its end♪♪
We are looking forward to seeing you all \(^o^)/.
