About the "Awaji Uzusuke" Charity Keychain

A special charity keychain has been created to support the World Heritage designation of the “Naruto Whirlpools.”

The character featured on this product, “Awaji Uzusuke,” was created by Satoshi Matsushima of the male idol group “timelesz” after he witnessed the whirlpools of the Naruto Strait firsthand and was inspired by their majestic sight. The design embodies Mr. Matsushima’s strong desire to contribute to the site’s designation as a World Heritage Site.

Some of the materials used in this product are plastic collected from the beaches of Minami-Awaji City. It is an upcycled product that helps protect the global environment while showcasing the charm of the local area.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this product will be donated to the “Awaji Island Residents’ Association for Designating the Uzu-shio as a World Heritage Site (NPO)” to support its efforts to promote the site’s designation as a World Heritage Site.
